New Strand Theatre makes reasonable efforts to comply with the ADA to the best of our ability in our building built in 1910. The main theatre is equipped with accessible bathroom stalls and marked handicap seating is situated so one can enjoy couples seating on both sides of the theatre. We have an accessible entrance that is in Ron-De-Voo Park (our emergency exit) and we can easily open it if we know you are coming. You can call us at 319-627-2014 after 7PM and we will arrange to meet you at the side door.
Hearing assistance is available by tuning your hearing aid to FM 72.9, or you may request the use of one of our headsets that allows you to hear the dialogue.
